Candidates following the Professional entry route are allowed to sit a maximum of four
papers in their first examinations.
The Membership with the ACCA can be obtained by registering on line. The website address
is
www.accaglobal.com.
The initial registration can be completed on line, and a copy of declaration is to be sent
to the ACCA along with the copies of your most recent academic qualifications, Passport size
photograph, Copies of the relevant pages of the passport, and a cheque/postal order of £58 as
the registration fee.
It may take ACCA up to 4-6 weeks to provide you with your registration details.
Practical implications
Successful candidates will need a minimum of 3 years practical experience in the relevant field. This will enable them to operate as registered auditors and practicing accountants
Registration deadlines
In order to appear in the paper based exams with the ACCA the registration deadlines must
be met.
Please note that in order to sit the June examinations the student must apply for
registration before 31st of December the following year and to sit December examinations
the registration deadline is 31st August same year.
However students opting for CBE exams do not need to follow the above dead lines, please
remember CBE option currently applies to paper M1 and M2 (ACCA) and papers 1-4 (CAT).
