Course Structure
CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting(CBA)
CIMA qualification can be joined from at certification level.
Upon completing the set of examinations the student will receive
the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting.
It comprises of following listed papers:
C01 Fundamentals of Management Accounting
C02 Fundamentals of Financial Accounting
C03 Fundamentals of Business Mathematics
C04 Fundamentals of Business Economics
C05 Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance & Business law
Successful completion of the sesatisfies the entry requirement
to CIMA professional qualification.
The assessment at this stage Computer Based,which students
will sit exams on a computer.
At least 50% marks has to be secured on each papers for a successful completion.
Professional CIMA
After successful achievement of CBA, candidates can progress on to
the Professional CIMA qualification 2010.
The subjects within each learning pillar of the qualification are designed to
be sequential,
from operational to strategic level,
encouraging the progressive development of knowledge, techniques and skills.
The structure of the qualification and syllabus subjects is shown on the diagram below.
Operational& Management Level
Within each learning pillar,students are advised to sit and pass the operational
level subject examination before
sitting the management level subject. However,examinations from different
learning pillars,at either operational or management level,may be sat concurrently.
The pass mark for each of the operational, management & strategic level subject examinations is
50% and permanent credit is awarded for any paper in which the candidates cores 50% or more.
Students must pass all operational and management level subject examinations,in each learning pillar
,before attempting the strategic level subjects.
